EmbeddedDOESHire is designed to collect as little data as possible. We operate on a principle of data minimalism.

Contact Form Submissions

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. This information is provided voluntarily by you.

No Analytics

We do not use analytics, trackers, cookies, fingerprinting, session recording, or any other surveillance technologies. EmbeddedDOESHire is designed to collect as little data as possible.

2. No Cookies {: #sec-02}

EmbeddedDOESHire does not use tracking cookies of any kind. No “necessary,” “functional,” “analytics,” or “marketing” cookies are set by our site.

3. How We Use Your Data {: #sec-03}

Any data you provide is used solely for the purpose you intended:

• Contact form submissions are used exclusively to respond to your inquiry.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing automation. We never enrich your data with third-party sources.

4. Contact Form Data Retention {: #sec-04}

Contact form submissions are stored in Cloudflare KV, a distributed key-value store used for backup and reliability purposes. We retain this data for a period of one year from the date of submission. After one year, all contact form data is permanently deleted.

You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time — see Section 6 below.

5. Third-Party Services {: #sec-05}

EmbeddedDOESHire uses the following third-party services. Each is limited in scope and carefully vetted for privacy practices.

Cloudflare Pages. Our site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process limited IP address data as part of standard HTTP request handling. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is available at: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Self-Hosted Fonts. EmbeddedDOESHire serves its own font files directly from the same server. No external font services (e.g., Google Fonts) are contacted when you visit the site. All typography is delivered from our own infrastructure, with no third-party network requests for font rendering.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

GDPR Rights (European Economic Area residents)

• Right to access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Right to restrict processing — request limitation of how we use your data.
• Right to data portability — request transfer of your data to another service.
• Right to object — object to our processing of your data.

CCPA Rights (California residents)

7. Data Security {: #sec-07}

Because EmbeddedDOESHire is a static site with no database, login system, or user accounts, our attack surface is inherently minimal. Security measures include:

• HTTPS everywhere. All traffic is encrypted in transit via TLS.
• No database. No user data is stored in a traditional database, reducing the risk of data breach.
• Minimal data collection. The less data we hold, the less there is to compromise.
• Cloudflare security. We benefit from Cloudflare’s DDoS protection, WAF, and security hardening.

Despite these measures, no online service is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy {: #sec-08}

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the site.
