Senior Embedded Engineer
Overview
NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to join the autonomous systems team in Santa Clara. You will build the embedded software stack that runs on NVIDIA’s DRIVE and Jetson platforms, powering self-driving cars, robotics, and edge AI devices worldwide. Your work will span kernel drivers, board support packages, and real-time application frameworks on ARM Cortex-A clusters running custom Linux distributions.
You will work closely with hardware architects, CUDA engineers, and perception teams to optimize the full software-hardware stack. Responsibilities include developing PCIe drivers, power management firmware, bootloader customization, and performance-tuning the memory and interrupt subsystems for deterministic real-time execution.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of embedded Linux experience, deep C and C++ proficiency, and strong understanding of ARM architecture. Experience with GPU programming, camera pipelines, or functional safety standards (ISO 26262) is a significant advantage.
