Embedded Systems Architect

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Embedded Systems Architect to define and lead the system-level architecture for advanced aerospace platforms in Denver, CO. You will own the embedded computing roadmap across flight-critical systems, balancing performance, power, reliability, and security constraints for defense applications.

This role spans processor selection, interconnect architecture (PCIe, Ethernet), FPGA co-processing strategy, and RTOS partitioning between VxWorks and Embedded Linux. You will collaborate across hardware engineering, software, systems engineering, and certification teams to deliver DO-178C DAL A compliant systems. The work directly supports national security space programs.

Qualified candidates bring 10+ years of embedded systems experience with proven architectural leadership on complex, safety-critical programs. Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Experience with radiation-tolerant designs, MIL-STD-1553, and cryptography is highly valued.
