Embedded AI Engineer

LG’s CLO (Chief Life Officer) AI Research Lab in Seoul is seeking an Embedded AI Engineer to bring machine learning inference directly onto consumer devices. You will deploy optimized neural networks on ARM-based SoCs with integrated GPUs, enabling real-time AI features — from intelligent cooking recognition in smart ovens to voice-enhanced home appliances — all running on-device with low latency and no cloud dependency.

This role demands both embedded systems depth and AI deployment experience. You will work with C and C++ for the firmware core, Python for model quantization and profiling, and embedded Linux for application integration. You will collaborate with LG’s on-device AI researchers to convert and optimize models using TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, and vendor-specific SDKs. Experience with BLE and WiFi connectivity stacks for cloud-adjacent hybrid architectures is highly valued.
