Overview

Keysight’s Colorado Springs R&D center is seeking an FPGA Engineer to develop high-performance digital designs for precision electronic measurement instruments. You will own the FPGA architecture for signal acquisition and processing chains in flagship oscilloscope and digitizer products, working in Verilog and VHDL on Xilinx and Intel FPGA platforms. Your designs will push the boundaries of sample rate, bandwidth, and measurement accuracy, implementing高速 data paths with PCIe Gen4/5 interfaces, multi-gigabit transceivers, and custom DSP pipelines.

You will collaborate closely with analog hardware engineers defining ADC interface requirements, embedded software teams developing real-time control firmware, and systems engineers establishing performance specifications. Responsibilities include writing simulation test benches, performing timing closure and floorplanning, conducting design reviews, and supporting prototype bring-up in the lab. Experience with高速 serial protocols (PCIe, JESD204B/C, gigabit Ethernet) and digital signal processing fundamentals is expected. Knowledge of mixed-signal design considerations and measurement instrumentation is a strong differentiator.

Colorado Springs offers a lower cost of living than coastal tech hubs while providing access to exceptional outdoor recreation and a growing technology ecosystem. The team size (~25 FPGA engineers) enables meaningful technical ownership and visible contributions to industry-leading test equipment that ships to engineers worldwide.
