Embedded Security Engineer
Overview
Arm is hiring an Embedded Security Engineer to join our Platform Security Architecture team in Cambridge. You will develop reference firmware implementations for Arm TrustZone, trusted firmware for Cortex-A, and secure boot solutions for Cortex-M microcontrollers that define how billions of devices handle attestation, measured boot, and secure storage.
Working within a research-oriented team of security architects and firmware engineers, you will write production-quality C and Rust code that ships as part of Arm’s open-source reference software packages. Your work directly influences the security posture of devices ranging from IoT sensors to mobile handsets and cloud infrastructure.
We are looking for an engineer with 6+ years of embedded experience and a strong background in platform security concepts including trusted execution environments, cryptography integration, and hardware-backed isolation. Experience contributing to open-source firmware projects is highly valued.
